I have been wanting to try out the original SodaStream machine for some time now. Since I am a soda fanatic the idea of having my very own little machine that created a variety of sodas (over 60 flavors), and carbonated waters under 30 seconds was very appealing. I was wasting so much money at the market buying soda, and fizzy waters that I knew I just had to have this machine. Luckily, I was able to get a SodaStream to review as well as several varieties of soda, and carbonated beverage mixes.

I admit, I did initially find the whole concept to be a bit skeptical. Would the cola flavored syrup really make a drink comparable to leading brands? The answer is simple, and I am proud to say YES! Sodas are something we drink maybe a couple of times a month and that is because the natural sodas cost so much. SodaStream appeals to me because could use their syrups but I also would have the option of making my own!

My aunt used to have a soda maker when I was a kid and it was always a treat to get to make our own soda at her house. It’s more of a nostalgia thing than anything else. But I do want to try a few of their flavors.

I want one of these so badly. I have trouble finding diet soda without aspertame – Soda Stream has diet soda with splenda. Also all the trash we have from empty soda cans and bottles is unbelievable – a soda stream would help the environment.
I would love to have a soda stream for my family that way we could all have the flavors we want without having a million cans or bottles around. So many flavors to choose from!
