My daughter’s new favorite toy is the PlasmaCar.  It is hands down the coolest, most popular toy in our home.   It has no pedals, and requires no batteries of any kind.  So, how does this amazing ride-on car run?

Pure Kid Power!

If you are a parent, you know all about the seemingly endless amount of energy that kids have.  The PlasmaCar takes advantage of all that extra energy.  Children simply have to keep moving the steering wheel from left to right to make the car move forward.  When they want to stop, they just put their feet on the ground.  It’s a great way for kids to get a little exercise while having tons of fun!

PlaSmart generously sent us a red PlasmaCar to review.  It’s a good thing it was easy to put together because my daughter was having a difficult time trying to control her excitement.  That’s my fault though.  Before we got it, she had asked me how the PlasmaCar worked, so I showed her a video of it in action.  After that, she just couldn’t wait to ride it.  I have to admit that I was pretty excited myself since adults can ride it too.  It supports up to 220 pounds!

The PlasmaCar has a very sleek, futuristic look to it.   It is currently available in a variety of colors including yellow, blue, purple, pink and red.  Very cool!

The PlasmaCar can be ridden inside or out, and works best on a flat, smooth surface.  We have a really long kitchen and my daughter loves driving her car back and forth as fast as she can.  Sometimes my 2yr. old will run and chase after her, but never quite catches up.  It’s really funny to watch!

It looked like so much fun, that I just had to try it out for myself.  I obviously weigh much more than my 7yr. old daughter, so I didn’t think it would go nearly as fast as it did when she was on it, but it did!  It was pretty fun just zooming around my kitchen.  I totally felt like a kid again!
